The adventure

Journey through Kenya on a six-day adventure that blends wild savannahs with coastal charm. Begin in the buzzing capital of Nairobi and ride the legendary “Iron Snake” railway to Tsavo, where red elephants roam and wildlife steals the spotlight on morning and afternoon safaris. Then swap savannahs for seaside in Watamu, a tropical paradise teeming with whale sharks, turtles, and vibrant reefs. Explore the mysterious ruins of Gedi, spice things up with a coastal cooking class, and unwind to the rhythm of the Indian Ocean. End in historic Mombasa, where culture, beaches, and adventure collide to create memories you’ll carry forever.

◆Arrive at any time. Meet your CEO and group for a welcome meeting in the evening followed by an optional welcome dinner.
◆Travel by train to Tsavo on a railway known as The Iron Snake, in honour of an ancient tribal prophecy attributed to the Masai, Kĩkũyũ, Kamba and Kalenjin tribes in Kenya. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch along the way. Enter Tsavo East National Park for a safari drive before an included dinner back at the lodge. Known for its vast, untouched wilderness, Tsavo is home to the iconic “Red Elephants” that bathe in the local red-dust.
◆Awake at the lodge and enjoy breakfast before a morning safari drive back into the untamed wilderness of Tsavo East National Park. Return to the lodge around lunch time and take advantage of a free afternoon to relax by the pool. Or choose to book an optional afternoon safari drive. Dinner will be had at the lodge this evening.
◆Experience one final safari drive through Tsavo East National Park on the way to Watamu. Along the way stop for a visit to the Archaeological site of Gedi. Get settled at the hotel before an included cooking class and dinner featuring East African classic dishes popular along the coast.
◆Spend a full free day in Watamu, a small coastal town in Kenya. Known for the Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve. Sandy beaches, home to seabirds, Mida Creek, sand flats, and mangrove forests. Then, choose to visit a local ocean conservation project working to protect the area. Later this afternoon, choose to book the Dhow Sunset Cruise. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.
◆Travel to Mombasa today where the tour ends upon arrival to the airport. Please do not book onward travel prior to 3pm.
