The adventure

Have your camera at the ready as you hit three parks in 14 days for the best chance to see the elusive tiger in its natural habitat. From the scrublands of Ranthambore to the beauty of Bandhavgarh, your expert CEO and handpicked local guides will lead you through a wilderness home to the most exotic of wildlife. The world famous Taj Mahal and the rugged forts and palaces of Jaipur provide an intriguing blend of culture so that you come away with the essence of India. Along the way, our certified CEO will share with you the hidden gems that will have your camera’s shutter working overtime.

◆Arrive at any time.
◆Take a morning walk through the city with a young adult from the G Adventures-supported New Delhi Streetkids Project. Later, visit Old Delhi, explore the spice markets, and visit Jama Masjid and Connaught Place.
◆Enjoy a safari in Bandhavgarh National Park.
◆Keep exploring the National Park on another safari in the morning, with free time in the afternoon. Opt to go out on another safari or explore the town.
◆Enjoy more time to explore before boarding an overnight train to Ranthambore National Park.
◆Arrive at Ranthambore National Park and head out on wildlife-spotting safari.
◆Explore more of the park on another safari. Opt to visit the Ranthambore Fort and Ganesh Temple.
◆Travel to Tordi Sagar, a rural Rajasthani village with close ties to the land and ethnic rural temples.
◆Opt for a morning hike up the hillock to a ruined fortress before continuing to Jaipur. Opt to visit Jantar Mantar or catch a Bollywood film at the Raj Mandir Movie Theatre.
◆Visit the 'Palace of the Winds' and wander the organized streets of the 'Pink City'. Later, enjoy a visit to the Amber Fort, famous for its mixture of Hindu and Muslim architecture.
◆Journey to Bharatpur. Visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park by cycle-rickshaw.
◆Travel to Agra and visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. Take a cycle rickshaw to reach the Agra Fort.
◆Catch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, and enjoy free time to explore Agra. Return to Delhi for one final opportunity to shop or explore.

Day 2Take a morning walk through the city…DelhiIn the morning, enjoy a city tour led by local streetkids from a G Adventures-supported project. Later, visit Delhi’s famous Jama Masjid (Great Mosque) and climb the minaret for a bird’s eye view of the Old City. Walk through Chandni Chowk, one of India’s oldest and busiest markets, and learn the history of the Sikh religion at the important Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship), Gurdwara SisGanj. Stop for photos at a colourful spice market before finishing at the Victorian Connaught Place, one of the most prominent architectural remnants of British rule. In the mid-afternoon, board an overnight train to Bandhavgarh National Park.
