Head to rural Jojawar to experience local life and an unforgettable train ride. City highlights, unique village experiences, designed exactly how you prefer — this is how you get to know India.

◆Embrace the colourful, hectic city life with a full day touring India's bustling capital. Visit Delhi's most iconic sights, from India Gate to Qutub Minar, to discover the history, culture and people that constitute this fascinating metropolis.
◆Fly to Varanasi, the quintessential Indian holy city where millions of Hindus travel for pilgrimage, worship, or mourning. After, take a cruise on the sacred Ganges at sunset.
◆Rise early for a boat ride along the Ganges to observe the sunrise, as well as the bathing and burial dawn rituals.
◆Travel to Lucknow, known for its cuisine and fascinating cultural heritage. Explore the city including a visit the imposing Bara Imambara, a Shia Muslim shrine.
◆Today will be a full day of driving as you travel to Agra, one of the Mughal Empire's most important cities and home to the Taj Mahal.
◆This morning, explore the magnificent Taj Mahal. Later, travel to Ranthambore National Park and take in the beautiful surroundings ahead of a safari the next day.
◆Today provides two opportunities to spot wildlife in Ranthambore National Park. Embark on a morning and afternoon safari drive in search of leopards, monkeys and the elusive tigers. Opt to walk with locals through the ruins of the 1,000-year-old Ranthambore Fort and visit the Ganesh Temple.
◆Drive to Jaipur. Otherwise known as the "Pink City", Jaipur was founded in 1728 and has the distinction of being one of the best-planned pre-modern cities.
◆Delve further into India's history with a tour of Jaipur's City Palace, Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar Observatory and Hawa Mahal.
◆Travel to the village of Jojawar and spend the night in a historic heritage hotel. Explore the village and take the opportunity to meet with locals who provide insight into rural life in India. This afternoon, take a rural jeep safari through the Aravali Mountain Range.
◆Travel to Udaipur and take an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.
◆Explore the City including a visit to the City Palace, one of the largest royal palaces in India and the Jagdish Temple, built in 1651 and dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Hindu god of preservation.
◆Fly to Delhi and enjoy free time this evening.
◆Depart at any time. Departure transfer included through the G Adventures-supported Women on Wheels project.
