The adventure

Get ready to live like a local on this off-season trip to the hilltop towns and vineyards of the Amalfi Coast. Explore the small towns and trails of this beautiful countryside while experiencing local customs and once-in-a-lifetime moments. Explore the ruins of Pompeii in the morning, hike the coastline of the Med by afternoon, and tuck into bed at your converted 17th-century monastery homebase at sundown. Since this trip takes place in the off season when it's just a bit cooler out, there are fewer people around the Amalfi Coast—meaning you'll have that much more paradise all to yourself.

◆Arrive at any time. There is a brief orientation walk after an optional group dinner.
◆Start the day with a guided walk of Naples. Afterwards, travel to Pompeii to enjoy a guided tour of the partially buried ruins before transferring to a beautiful agriturismo nestled in the hills above the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy the first of many delicious home cooked Italian dinners and one of three cooking demonstrations.
◆Visit the seaside town of Sorrento and enjoy an orientation walk before free time.
◆Set out on the famous "Path of the Gods" hike, weather and conditions permitting.
◆Enjoy a free time to enjoy the property and its surroundings. Opt to indulge in a mozzarella-making and/or a limoncello making demonstration. In the evening, learn how to make pizza the Italian way.
◆Visit Amalfi and Ravello with free time to explore before returning to the agriturismo.
◆Morning transfer to the Naples train station. Depart in the early afternoon.
