Our local CEO will ensure a thrilling journey throughout Jordan’s past and present, including a dip in the Dead Sea and a visit to Kerak Castle. Find your own bit of desert peace as you explore archaeological ruins and see what Israel looks like from the top of Mt Nebo. Start making history back where history began.

Enjoy a guided visit of Jerash, one of the largest and most well-preserved Roman ruins outside of Italy. Continue to the Dead Sea with the option to swim and enjoy health and beauty treatments that use natural sea salts and mud.
Visit the ancient town of Madaba, famous for its mosaics and churches. View Israel from the summit of Mt Nebo and visit the desert crusader castle at Karak.
Enjoy a guided full day tour of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with 2-day entrance allowing plenty of free time to explore.
The morning is free to return and explore Petra at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy a cooking demonstration and a dinner of local specialties.

Day 2Enjoy a guided visit of JerashAfter breakfast, set off on a half-day trip to Jerash, a fascinating place and one of the largest and most well-preserved Roman sites outside of Italy. Next, head to the Dead Sea. Afterwards, relax under an umbrella next to one of the freshwater swimming pools or enjoy the other facilities at the resort hotel. Why not indulge in an optional massage or one of the other health and beauty therapies available?

The first stop is Mount Nebo, which is believed by many to be the site of Moses' death and has thus been a centre for pilgrimage since the earliest Christian times. Visit the town of Madaba which has some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world and Karak Castle, the largest late Islamic castle in Jordan. Arrive in the early evening at Wadi Musa, our base for the next 3 nights.

The guide will give a brief history of the city, which the Nabateans carved from the living rock of the surrounding mountains. The site is large, but group members can set their own pace depending on the weather and the interests of the group.

This site is literally hidden away in a mountain and is a miniature version of Petra. It contains a number of notable tombs and offers a glimpse of Petra without the crowds. Later, drive to Wadi Rum, a vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds and the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's desert landscapes. Enjoy lunch head deep into the desert on a 4x4 excursion. Visit water reserves, natural arches, sands dunes, Rock bridges and enjoy the sunset with cup of Bedouin tea before heading back to the lodge for dinner.
