Jordan is on everyone's travel lists these days, and our eight-day tour takes you through this incredible Middle Eastern destination with time (and your pocketbook) in mind. Float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra and wander through the breathtaking Siq tunnel passage, then experience Bedouin culture in the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. By the end of your time in Jordan, you'll wonder how it's stayed off the radar for so long.
Arrive at any time.
Depart by private vehicle for a short drive to the Dead Sea. Visit to a G Adventures-supported community cafe for lunch before continuing on to Petra.
Start early to visit iconic Petra. Enjoy a guided walking tour with your CEO, then opt to hike up to the top of the treasury or explore on your own. This evening, opt to visit a Turkish bath or visit Petra by night.
Opt to visit Little Petra in the morning before continuing to Wadi Rum. Head out for a 4x4 excursion during the day before a traditional dinner and overnight at a Bedouin desert camp.
Journey to the Red Sea, where you can opt to pre book a snorkelling trip, or relax on the beach.
Travel by private vehicle north to the town of Madaba. In the afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the area including a visit to nearby Mount Nebo.
Take a short trip by private vehicle back to Amman and enjoy a free day to explore the city.

Amman is a very big city and there is not one central area to stay - hotels are spread out across various neighbourhoods within the city. For this reason, to move around the city in your free time, you will have to take a taxi, please feel free to ask your CEO for recommendations and assistance.

Head deep into the desert by 4x4 stopping at famous landmarks along the way. Arrive to the tented camp in time for a traditional meal and learn more about this ancient culture. There is a large, central tent that is traditionally decorated and perfect for relaxing or escaping the cold nights in winter. Our dinner is prepared in traditional fashion, with the meat and vegetables cooked in an underground oven. Soft drinks and water are available for purchase. Lanterns light the way but we do suggest you bring a flashlight.
