Day 3Cairo - Grand Egyptian MuseumThis morning, step into the world of ancient pharaohs, powerful dynasties, and timeless treasures with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum* - Egypt’s newest and most ambitious cultural landmark. The museum recently opened its doors in a soft launch, offering visitors an early look at its awe-inspiring collection. The museum is home to over 100,000 ancient artifacts, including the colossal statue of Ramses II, which welcomes guests in the soaring Grand Hall. While some galleries may still be preparing for their debut, the experience promises a captivating introduction to Egypt’s rich heritage in a truly spectacular setting. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and gather for a welcome dinner this evening.

After lunch on board, enjoy an afternoon at leisure to get familiarized with the ship. Return to the ship for a late lunch and settle in for views of the fertile banks of the Nile as you sail upstream towards Kom Ombo, where you’ll arrive tomorrow afternoon.

Later on after dinner, dress up and join the fun during a traditional <i>galabeya</i> party.
